SNC's Family Fun Fishing Derby Lured in a Crowd
For the third year in a row, South Nation Conservation (SNC) hosted a Family Fun Fishing Derby at Jessup’s Falls Conservation Area in Plantagenet. Despite the rainy weather, nearly 40 people were in attendance on July 8 to enjoy the local favorite hotspot for fishing. Participants competed for prizes for the largest and smallest fish and enjoyed a free BBQ lunch and games. Jessup’s Falls Conservation Area is part of SNC’s network of 14 Conservation Areas offering endless recreation opportunities year-round free of charge.
