Tee Up at SNC’s Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament at Casselview!
Celebrate South Nation Conservation’s (SNC) 70th anniversary at the Friends of SNC Golf Tournament taking place at the Casselview Golf and Country Club on August 10!
Funds raised at the tournament will improve accessibility at SNC’s Conservation Areas and offset youth education program fees.
The cost is $100 per golfer for 18 holes, including a power cart, breakfast buffet, and BBQ lunch. Breakfast is at 8:00 a.m. and tee-off is at 9:30 a.m. Casselview is located at 844 Aurele Road, Casselman ON.
“The tournament format is best ball. Golfers can register a foursome or join us as individuals and we will team them up. Everyone is welcome,” said Holly Nyenkamp, SNC’s Communications and Outreach Assistant.
Hole-in-one cash prizes and hole challenges are planned for this fun event. Golfers will also learn about SNC’s rich history over its past 70 years of conservation.
“We welcome sponsors and prizes for our event. We are seeking Gold sponsors ($500), Silver sponsors ($300), and Bronze sponsors ($100). Give us a call to learn about sponsorship incentives,” added Nyenkamp.
Through SNC’s fundraising efforts, accessible docks have been installed at several Conservation Areas. Additional accessible docks will be installed with the funds raised at the tournament. Youth education will also benefit from the fundraising efforts allowing SNC to offer a roster of free programs such as youth fishing camps, hunting camps, school and community group environmental programming, and more.
“Not only will golfers enjoy a day outdoors at a beautiful golf course, but they will also be giving back to their community.”
